We have used all the leaflets in the past but this one is particularly useful to give to families concerned about ADHD where either the diagnosis is still uncertain or where the family simply needs ideas to manage lively behaviour. I am very glad it continues to be available. It would be nice if the Young Minds phone number on the back of the leaflet could be updated to save us having to change this manually

Hello

Are you aware that the NCT runs postnatal courses now with specialist workers that deal with some of the issues raised in this leaflet?

Postnatal Leaders have been taught by the NCT and gain a diploma in facilitation to run courses based around group discussions of parents (usually mums) about the issues they face during the transition to parenthood.

Some postnatal leaders have links with the Children Centres and some with the NHS but it would be useful if the NHS considered using leaders across the country to run discussion groups and reach more parents.

Thank you

Rachel
